Let the Colours Speak to You

The other night Carla asked me about the young man she had just started dating. When I laid out the cards to see what direction their budding romance would go in the next few weeks, apart from the straight-forward information, another interesting thing jumped right at me. First, the message about their romance was not too encouraging; although I no longer remember the order of the cards, I remember that Some Money, Widow, Thought, Judge, Baby and Jealousy made up the Crescent Spread.

The Perfect Love Triangle

Just yesterday I gave a wonderful reading to Cindy. The cards were clear, my words flowed easily, our horizons opened, questions were answered. While such desire to reunite the lost object and its owner seems very noble, when we scratch the deeper layers of symbolism and meaning, it rather speaks of our blindness and deafness to the ways higher powers communicate with us.

Diving Into Deeper Layers Carefully

When people ask me how far deep in the matter the Gypsy cards can go, I answer them honestly: the strength of the Gypsy cards lies in showing events around us and energies that surround those events. For example, the cards are happy to show us the struggles of a relationship and the most likely direction it will go if problems are not addressed. They show us where the relationship is losing energy and whether it is reparable at all. They discourage us from hopeless investments and encourage us to find our way to self-alignment where we are rewarded with internal balance and harmony.
