Ghost Boy in the Bathroom

“The photo was taken by my mother on Halloween day 1989 of me and my friend spray painting our hair before trick-or-treating,” says Melissa. “We didn’t realize that there was a third person in the photo for quite some time. We considered the idea of a double exposure, but there is no overlapping on the picture and also we don’t recognize the boy. He seems to be a young boy. He’s standing behind me and has dark poofy hair, and seems to be looking down or has his eyes closed. Unfortunately, I have no answers for it.” Do you? Fringe: Earthling

On a recent episode of Fringe (Season 2, Episode 6), a shadow entity attacks unwitting victims and turns them into piles of dust (some very good effects here). In this case, the shadowman is an entity from outer space that made its way to earth via a cosmonaut, and it feeds on the trace amounts of radiation people carry in their bodies.
As you’ve no doubt read in this site’s Your True Tales, many people claim to have had sightings or encounters with shadow people. Most of the time they are seen as harmless if unnerving fleeting shadows out of the corner of one’s eye. They certainly have not been blamed for disintegrating folks into gray powder. There have been reports, however, of some shadow people being more than just shadows — having physical effects and even attacking. Check out these stories:

Some suspect that Fringe might have it right — that shadow people are extraterrestrial. What do you think?

The film Paranormal Activity has become a phenomenal sensation around the country. One question I’ve been asked by people who have seen it is: Can stuff like that really happen? Here’s a close look at the hit movie, what the filmmakers got right and got wrong with regard to a real haunting, and what the characters did right and wrong.Paranormal Activity: What the Movie Got Right… and Wrong originally appeared on About.com Paranormal Phenomena on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 22:39:22.

Black-Eyed Man at Walmart

“Several years ago, I was standing in line at Walmart in Webb City, Missouri, ready to pay for my purchases,” Connie says. “I usually don’t look around at others in line, but I had a very uneasy feeling and smelled a peculiar odor. I turned around and looked at a very tall man dressed in black. I looked at his eyes and they were completely black…” Was he just a weirdo who didn’t use deodorant? Or was he something worse? Read the rest of Connie’s story.

Child Ghost at Stanley Hotel

“I was at the Stanley on a ghost tour,” says George. “I didn’t notice it until I was on the plane home and zoomed in on all my Stanley pictures. I was shocked at first. At first I thought it was a dog, then after zooming closer, it certainly looks like an apparition of a little boy. If you look at the people on the ground they are so clear, when you look at the window it looks like a vision. You’ll also notice there is no curtain or glass to distort the view; the window is open.” See the photo in the Gallery.Child Ghost at Stanley Hotel originally appeared on About.com Paranormal Phenomena on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 00:12:40.

Is it possible to make a telepathic connection through psychometry?

“I printed a photograph of a person from the internet,” says Jim. “I tried getting impressions and feelings. Sometimes the images are clear, other times they’re fuzzy. Is it true that the person in the picture could sense that someone was studying their picture even though they are miles away? If you sleep with the picture under your pillow, would you make a psychic connection? Is it possible to make a telepathic connection through psychometry?”
Read the answer from psychometry expert, Becky Walsh.
