“This incident happened to my husband as a child” reports Sunflowereyes. “His parents divorced when he was young and his mother got custody of him and his sister. They were very poor in the beginning and his mother was only able to get a one-story apartment. He never liked the basement. He said he would always get a strange feeling down there. One day his mother asked him to retrieve some food from the basement, and when he went to open the door and start down the stairs, a crumpled shadow was at the bottom, seeming to ‘stare’ up at him….” Staring is one thing and getting pushy is quite another.
